Hainan University, located in Haikou, is a comprehensive and research-oriented university in southern China. Established in 1983 and merged with Hainan Normal University in 2007, it offers a wide range of programs across science, engineering, economics, law, medicine, and the humanities. Known for its tropical campus and modern facilities, the university emphasizes innovation, international collaboration, and sustainable development.

It attracts students from across China and abroad, contributing significantly to education, research, and cultural exchange in Hainan Province.
